Yakisoba welcomes all vegetables of your preference and extends that welcome to chicken, pork and prawns too.
Gg’s Vegetarian Yakisoba Recipe:
(serves 2)
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 packages steamed soba noodles (room temperature)
- 1 medium carrot (shredded)
- half head cabbage (shredded)
- 1 packet Shimeiji mushroom
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- soya sauce (to taste)
- dashi (optional/ to taste)
- mirin (optional/ to taste)
- 1 packet Enoki mushrooms
- 1 packet of beansprouts
Directions
- Heat oil in non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add noodles and toss to loosen them.
- Add cabbage, carrot and Shimeiji and stir to combine. One to two minutes.
- Add seasonings to taste and toss.
- Add Enoki and toss.
- Add beansprouts and stir to combine. Once the beansprouts are barely cooked, turn fire off, plate and serve.
